3 Questions Wednesday with Cynthia L. Simmons

Cynthia 3Today we welcome author and speaker, Cynthia L. Simmons, to 3 Questions Wednesday.

Hi, Cynthia! So glad you stopped by. First question:

Which author would you never get tired of, and why?

Cynthia: I love Agatha Christie, particularly her Tommy and Tuppence stories. The they are a married couple who work together to solve crime while enjoying each other. Sherlock Holmes ranks a close second. It’s exciting to watch him assemble tiny details to unravel a mystery.

Great mystery writers with particularly evil villains.

Who is your favorite fictional villain?

Cynthia: Mr. Willoughby from Sense and Sensibility makes a good villain. He wasn’t in control of his passions, and he received justice for his actions.

Interesting choice. Now tell us a little about yourself.

What project are you currently working on?

Cynthia: I just finished Pursuing Gold, and I sent it to my editor. It’s a mystery about a bank in the Confederacy. The two main characters find counterfeit money and have to find the culprit to save the bank.

Sounds like a good historical mystery. 🙂

Cynthia is offering  a chance to win her book, Women Who Overcame. Leave a comment below to be entered.
